DS destroyed expensive eye shadow pallette

That will teach me for leaving it on the floor. Does anyone recommend any good but cheap eyeshadow palettes? Bit tight on money at the moment!

Revolution - relatively cheap, lots of colours. Good pigments (teenage DD uses a lot of their v bright colours for rainbow make up etc and often gets compliments, I use the more subtle shades). Fair mix of glittery and non-glittery shades, best stock is in Superdrug

As said revolution. They do a lot as well so plenty of colour choices.

Morphe had a massive sale on a week or so ago, maybe see if it's still running? I got a gorgeous palette reduced from £36 to £5 I am over the moon!

You can get eyeshadow repair kits depending on how broken it is.

Oh god, I remember when my then 2 year old used my Dior nail glow to 'paint' my Philips Lumea. Thankfully the Lumea was fine, he just painted the handle but children just seem to have an instinct to go for the good stuff - I had way cheaper and more colourful brands but he had to go for the Dior!

I’ve lost count of how many lipsticks my DDs have destroyed. You have my sympathy!

Rimmel eye shadow pallettes are good

Revolution and MUA are both v cheap and v good

The ELF palettes are really good. Loads of colours and the pigment is good.

Revolution are cheap and ok but for slightly more I’d get a beauty bay palette. I have both and prefer the beauty bay, better colour pay off and they have all the colours you need

I'm so impressed with a Barry m palette I got as a present. It lasts all day which I've never had before. I've got the wildlife range one, it has a tiger on the front

Mua and its cruelty free. Lovely make up and cheap

There is a liquid chemical you can add to broken powders that resets them.

I’m having flashbacks to my own childhood. I
remember absolutely ruining my mums gorgeous red lipstick one hallowe’en when I was a preteen 😬. It was the only she had, expensive (am having a blank on the brand) and she cried when she realised - we didn’t have a lot of money and it was a present from my auntie.

My boys like to use my perfume, I’ve had to hide my really nice (gifted) stuff otherwise they appear downstairs smelling too nice for a school day.

There was a Naked palette dupe in Aldi when I was there last week (I think it was their Lacura brand). Not sure of the quality but the Lacura powder blusher I have is as good as my Nars one.
