ESalon hairdye

I keep getting adverts for ESalon popping upon my social media feed. Any honest reviews? I’m wondering what the difference is between that brand and other over the counter supermarket hair dye

I haven't used it but there was a thread on it a while ago that was very positive if you can search

I used this in lockdown and it was excellent. I have never used a shop dye but this is more of a professional salon dye. They have a matching service, you can send photo's, explain your skin tone etc and they match the colour to suit your normal salon colour. They don't do highlights. I bought the package with brush/bowl/cape etc and managed to do not a bad job myself.

Started using it in lockdown to cover roots. It is really good. They matched my natural hair colour perfectly, dye is really high quality, can adjust deliveries etc...bunny friendly (important to me) and lots of good advice if you need it.

I thought it was shit. Great packaging and sales, poor product. I only used it once.

im not happy with the lady who does my hair currently- I look stripey and have some solid blocks of unnatural colour. The person I tried previous to her bleached my hair before colouring, gave me a completely different colour to the one o requested and my hair is still snapping off (it’s underneath so not too noticeable). So I thought I might try myself and save some dosh!!

@MsPinkMarshmallow what didn’t you like about it?

Maybe it's because I need more bleach? It was over lockdown and I wanted my roots done and it just wasn't strong enough.

I didn't like it, the colours weren't great, it was claggy and hard to wash out. I prefer standard box colour if going down that route.

Honestly, it's no better than standard box dye. I used it for about 6 months.

Thanks all. I’ve also read through some of the other threads on here and have come to the conclusion that marketing is fantastic but the results aren’t quite the same
