Should I get a fringe?

I'm 54, look younger, have dyed brown hair in a slightly past shoulder length and slightly too long bob with side parting. I haven't had a fringe for about 10 years but I'm considering having one cut in next time I go to the salon. What do you think? I mostly wear it down and I have an office job with a very smart dress code.

Why don't you have a fringe? Did you never have one or did you grow one out ?
Reason I am asking is if you had one before you will remember how long it took to grow it out and do you have the time !
Getting a fringe cut in will give you a whole new look but after a while and several cuts later where they never quite cut it the same has always made me grow the darn thing out !

I grew it out, and yes it did take ages!
