For a night reception degree celebration (arts and drama). I'm the parent not the student!

I'm a size 8-10 5ft 2, dark coloring.
Prefer quality fabrics.

Brands - not sure.
I like Ghost, Ted Baker and similar. I look/feel quite ‘mumsy’ in Hobbs, Phase Eight iyswim - maybe to do with the length...

Any ideas for outfits or brands that I can check out.

Is it a formal event or more relaxed? What is your budget?
These are nice:

They are very different to each other in style. Both very appropriate too. I love them.
I wonder if the Poetry dress maybe just a bit ‘full’ for me?

It comes in a shorter length option too.

That poetry dress would look nice with a brown skinny belt

This would look lovely and be really appropriate for the event. Guarantee you will get loads of comments. Pair with some gold statement earrings www.hush-uk.com/nyra-midi-dress-ombr%C3%A9-stripe/006476-4063.html

Like the ombre effect @Milesty1 .

Not so sure of the shape on me.

would look good with clumpy boots and a short jacket. Bit more fitting since you are petite
