Cool undertone I’d say.

newdocket · 04/10/2022 15:47

I'd say cool too. Cool and soft (meaning there is relatively low contrast between skin and hair, although without seeing eyes can't be sure on this). The soft bit meaning that you probably shouldn't wear very saturated colours and stick to mid-paler ones from a cool palate

MidnightMeltdown · 04/10/2022 15:48

Definitely cool

Wafflefudge · 04/10/2022 15:59

I can't work mine out either. I'd have thought pink meant warm shows how much I know.

AuntSalli · 04/10/2022 16:00

It’s perfectly possible to be both I had the scarf test where they put a think it’s a red or orange scarf around your neck and also a bluey silvery coloured one to see which one makes your eyes pop more.

I came out completely 50-50 on both I must’ve met the cooler colours are my preference so I worked with that my whole life but I can get away with it either perhaps you can too

Blossomandbee · 04/10/2022 16:07

I would say cool but hard to tell from a photo. I've heard that if your wrist veins looks greeny then you're warm toned and blue/purple is cool toned. But you can be neutral.

newdocket · 04/10/2022 17:50

That colour you are wearing is chartreuse and is a warm colour. Try looking in the mirror wearing that and then covering with something like a light blue and see whether you think one or the other makes you look more radiant!

WhereAreWeNow · 04/10/2022 17:53

I'd say cool.

WhereAreWeNow · 04/10/2022 17:56

Love your hair colour BTW.
I have cool colouring but I always buy warm or neutral foundation - I find cool ones are too pink for my liking. I stick to cool colours for lipsticks though. Warm lipstick shades look dreadful on me.

MrJi · 04/10/2022 17:59

I was going to say cool, as you are very fair and so your skin looks on the cooler side, but actually that green really suits you, so I wonder if you are warm, just a very pale warm. You do have a peaches and cream look.

twointhemorning · 04/10/2022 18:10

You look warm toned to me....

But it's hard to tell as the green top is a warm green and your hair looks red

To be cool toned your skin needs a bluish tint and it doesn't look like that in the photos.

Backtoreality22 · 04/10/2022 18:15

I would have said warm. Is that your natural hair colour?

667TheNeighbourOfTheBeast · 04/10/2022 18:16

I would say cool. I think one of the ways you can tell with colours is white or cream, next to your skin (swathe it round your head) if white suits you best you’re cool. Also jewellery, if silver looks better on you you’re cool. Like others have said though it’s hard to tell with photo and not real life. I’m definitely cool toned I have blue veins in wrist and pink cheeks but that lime/Chartreuse green you are wearing suits me too

Ruthietuthie · 04/10/2022 18:52

Does cream or white suit you best? Cream would mean you are warm toned, white cool. And what about mustard or orange. Can you wear it, or do you look ghastly in it? If you look awful in mustard, probably you are cool toned.

LaCerbiatta · 04/10/2022 19:16

I'll go against the grain and say warm! You have red hair (which my colour consultant said almost always means warm) and that coral lipstick seems to really suit you!

I don't think the skin colour is that easy to interpet, I have very yellow skin and am definitely cool toned.

catsonahottinroof · 04/10/2022 19:25

In the light of the photo you look cool (pink toned skin), but your hair is red. If your eyes are blue, I'd say definitely cool. If green/hazel, then you could be neutral?

Imaybesmallbutaimtobeighy · 04/10/2022 19:30

Thanks all !
My hair was white blond till i was six .
It then turned a sort of dark blonde . I am grey but hairdresser said i have warmth in the grey.
She tried to dye a non grey section grey as i waa thinking of going grey but ir went green ! I struggle to tan , my viens are blue.
I look terrible in purple of ny shade. Any muddy colours such as a brown mustard look tereible. I seem to suit white in my view more rhan cream. I sort of look vert gentle in cream ans disapear whereas white looks striking/ fresh .
I am not a natural red head but see above.
Those who said you like my hair colour , its a copper / red mix .. like a cup of tea ! From e salo n. They ace .

Pretty sure this confirms your coolness!

Ruthietuthie · 04/10/2022 22:51

With those details, I would say that you are a cool, definitely. Good luck with the foundation shopping!

itsnotmeitsu · 04/10/2022 23:08

I think if your veins appear blue you've got a cool tone; if they are green you're warm. But of course there's the mixtures inbetween. I'm apparently a 'sultry winter', which to me sounds lovely 😀. I found the best test was, does gold or silver jewelry suit me better? With me it's silver. However the older I get, the more I don't give a sh-t. If it appeals to me I'll wear it. The make-up foundation recommended to me was pink-based, rather than yellow.

Imaybesmallbutaimtobeighy · 05/10/2022 00:03

Thanks . So intresting isnt it !
