I was just checking my orders (no sign of either yet) and realised I’ve ordered a top I bought in the last sale and returned. What an eejit 🙄

I have my first order coming today according to the tracking. The marl cardigan,( hoping thats good.. ) seersucker dress ( which I probably wont keep though as I now think that the luna one will be better and a summer orange tee which I probably will..

I hopped on the bandwagon after lurking here and have bought a few things in two batches from the sale because of the haphazard nature of the additions- but lots of items have been cancelled. I had one refund a few days ago, and another one today. It sort of feels like the work experience kids have organised the sale this time around?!

Morning! Here is the Alpaca yoke sweater worn with my (greenish) Gabis from a couple of years ago. Pleased with the jumper, it'll be warm this coming week. It's a little bit "hairier" than I would have liked (a bit mohair like) but I can live with that.

Well that is weird. When I click on "choose photo" it only offers me some random weird selfies that DS3 took a long time ago. Must look at my settings. Hopefully photo to follow.....

Morning. Nothing arrived yet but all items from the first batch (before the 500 landed) are on their way. No news yet on on the second batch (Luna etc) - just order confirmed.

@Arpeggiator - very unlucky to have multiple cancellations.

I nearly did that on a couple of things but remembered to double-check.

No delivery for me today, apparently Royal Mail have it so hopefully will deliver tomorrow.

(Oh no! , sad to see the cancellations.. I am really hoping my two last orders (the Lys shirt and the Luna dress ) are not , because I am now rather invested in both of them having regretted not buying them previously ..

@Saurus72 , I also ordered two things that I tried from previous sales - One is fine, I regretted sending it back, but the other was a face palm moment as I now recall it won't suit!

Anyway, I recieved some things this morning that oddly, were not my first orders. Weird. Anyway, a complaint about inconsistent sizing. I have an ema in L and in M, the L is too big and the M is just right. The orange and green stripe emma's in M arrived today - they're tighter! WHY??? I'm going to show my OH later and have a think about whether to keep them. Everything else that arrived is going back:

The fisherman paperbag trousers - as anyone else recieved theirs? I was surprised to see that the folds have not been sewn down inside, so I could see this just adding bulk, and I wasn't thrilled about the shape. The Ogee stuff isn't me at all the other pair of trousers is a thick linen cotton that I thik will bobble - odd for trousers, and the Ikat trousers I odered two sizes and this pair is going back as it's too fitted but is my usual size. Again, Grrrr.

Another cancellation here! I had the Jude Moss Check trousers cancelled a few days ago and I’ve just received an email to say ‘my’ Lam dress is a cancellation too. Both were ordered right at the start of the sale.

Ahhh commiserations @Snowyowl78 and @SmaugMum ! 3 of my cancellations were ordered at the start of the sale too. I was really looking forward to some lovely summer trousers. Oh well

With your luck? You won’t be cancelled, no way! 😅

The cancellations sound so frustrating. I'm curious. Do they take your money, cancel and then refund? Anyway how annoying.

dudsville my experience this week has been that my money has been taken, then an email follows a day later saying sorry can’t send product , then notification of refund. To be fair , refund was swift .

Getting fed up now, Toast! Not only have two items (so far) been cancelled, despite me ordering right at the start of the sale, but now I’ve been sent an obviously worn silk dupion shirt, with pronounced white deodorant marks all over the underarm seam. It’s hard to photograph the shirt, given the December afternoon gloom and the shininess of the fabric, but let me know what you think?

Oh that's bad@EmmatheStageRat . I really hate that some people think that its ok to wear things then send them back.
Best that you contact customer service right now with your notification from the post office because it will show that you have just this minute received it 😡

So for me three things received and three going straight back!
The grey wool merino cardigan is just a bit ordinary, and doesn't make my heart sing which it should for £110. The orange shirt sleeve tee, ditto , bit ordinary, and is huge. And the seersucker tunic dress, whilst lovely, fab colour and really unusual, is a bit too tight on the bust.. ( I do have a larger size coming though as I wasn't sure of the sizing , so it will be a contender)
Good for the credit card balance!

@EmmatheStageRat - that's rubbish - not only the person who wore it and then sent it back, but also Toast who should check things like that - it looks very obvious to me

That's grim @EmmatheStageRat , how disappointing, not at all what shopping should be like. I like to think they'd steam things and do a quality check but clearly not.

Those cancellations are so annoying for you all.
I think the return department is very hit and miss. Look how many times they haven’t issued a refund because they’ve missed an item in a parcel. They also mustn’t check returns carefully.

Is that the navy sweater @AFingerofFudge I think I’ve ordered the other colour way. Is it big fitting?

Royal Mail seems very behind because of the strikes this week.

Has anyone got the fir check cotton dress?

@EmmatheStageRat thats rubbish, if you did want to keep it I would ask for a big discount - they might give it to you
