Thanks @Laska2Meryls . They don’t look as oversized as expected them to be.
I am still sitting down and looking at the price of the Peacoat.
My sale stuff is not going to arrived until next week I think. There is a RM strike today and tomorrow. I am always a day later than the mainland so unlikely to be Friday for the one parcel dispatched on Monday. The other parcels haven’t reached RM yet and the Miller is not even on the horizon.
I am in London from Saturday until Tuesday so I’ll just have to wait. Obvs I’ll go into an actual Toast store at some point but my budget is spent before I go.

AFingerofFudge · 30/11/2022 11:35

Fabulous selection @Laska2Meryls I love all of your selection, the coat is just gorgeous!

JustforToast · 30/11/2022 11:46

That’s a lovely selection @Laska2Meryls . I really like how you have styled the jumper.

Stoic123 · 30/11/2022 11:47

@Laska2Meryls - clothes look very lovely. That coat is just divine on you!

Brillenbar47 · 30/11/2022 12:17

The toast peacoat is

AmethystMoonShine · 30/11/2022 12:18

You look fabulous @Laska2Meryls ! Oh my isn't that coat just beautiful, I'll admit to being very envious of that, it really suits you. I love that you got an entire outfit as your prize - excellent choices. Also much better seeing these garments on one of us. I'm jealous of your slender hips in those trousers, they fit you so well.

Brillenbar47 · 30/11/2022 12:18

The toast peacoat is made by london tradition much cheaper if you purchase directly from them www.londontradition.com/shop/women/

Snowyowl78 · 30/11/2022 12:33

i think parcels will be a while as there are strikes today and tomorrow :(

does anyone have the Alix Organic Indigo Gingham Trousers | Indigo/Toffee?

I ordered them in a 12 and now I am worried they will be too big! Alix seem to vary in size ALOT. I have the indigo ones in a 10 and a pin stripe pair in a 10 but I also tried the Brass ones last year in a 10 and they were really small!

dudsville · 30/11/2022 12:42

There's some new stuff added to the sale...

Laska2Meryls · 30/11/2022 12:43

The London Tradition ones are really nice, I like their mid-thigh duffle coat ..
But the Toast peacoat is definitely a different cut to their peacoat .. it's A line and has a back vent so is swingy. I really like the raglan shoulder detail also..
But yes, so expensive... Perhaps it will be in the sale!

Oh no!

OP posts:
Snowyowl78 · 30/11/2022 12:59

oh cripes! What’s the new stuff, I can’t see it…?

faustina · 30/11/2022 13:06

@Snowyowl78 I tried those on last year-ish and they were a really strange fit - like one leg was different to the other

@Brillenbar47 - great minds etc - I also looked at their website, but their peacoats are much slimmer than the Toast one

@Laska2Meryls you look fabulous - the jumper looks amazing and the coat is so beautiful! (and so expensive!)

can you tell me which size you went for in the peacoat? I have bought something pre-loved from Ebay and am hoping it won't be too oversized

my carpenter trousers have just arrived! off to try them on

Gonegrey31 · 30/11/2022 13:28

Laska2Meryls you look fabulous and I’m so pleased for you! Enjoy your lunch !

Snowyowl78 · 30/11/2022 13:29

@faustina oh dear that sounds weird!

applecatchers36 · 30/11/2022 13:44

Laska great choices. You look great in them, esp pic of you in the garden with your red hat on, love the whole outfit!

dudsville · 30/11/2022 15:02

Sorry i was randomly looking to pass the time between meetings! Have you all been able to find them now? I can't remember but the number of items in the sale approx doubled and there was a pea coat and some other things...

dudsville · 30/11/2022 15:11

Apologies again, its a duffle!

Laska2Meryls · 30/11/2022 15:31

@faustina
Mine is a 16, I think that I could have easily had a 14, but decided not to change ... I just wore the thick fairisle jumper under it out to lunch and it really didn't feel too big.. . However raglan shapes are often quite narrow on me at the top as I have fairly wide shoulders and am an inverted triangle body shape..( Perhaps I am really a bloke? But one with 36Es it seems.😂) ..Heck, I am making myself sound great here , eh? 🤣).

If you are tempted I think you should go for a 10 or 8.
.

Laska2Meryls · 30/11/2022 15:33

The vent at the back sits flat on me btw, not stocking out , I just pulled it out a bit on that photo above, so you could see what it is like

TheChattyRat · 30/11/2022 15:34

Great choices @Laska2Meryls I have my eye on the trousers in green. One for the next sale I hope!
I couldn't see anything new in the sale section @dudsville but only checked recently. Maybe it all sold out already!

faustina · 30/11/2022 15:34

no - it looks brilliant on you - it's meant to be oversized! I can't justify that price for a peacoat but have found something on Ebay that I'm hoping will work. It's bigger than 8/10 though

Laska2Meryls · 30/11/2022 15:41

Hope that it work for you Faustina, if not, you should easily be able to resell..

OP posts:
dudsville · 30/11/2022 16:51

So, those who've looked and not seen anything new, did your sale items number get down to 90 something? Because earlier mine shot up to 170 ish. Weird.
