I'm always a bit wary of olive clothing because they don't have free returns and also the one size thing

Does anyone have the cord gabi trousers? I want to know how oversized they are and if the elasticated waist make the bum look like a potato sack. If they are so high waisted that they'll reach my boobs (im short torso-ed) it might not be a good idea.
Can't find lovely tapered cords anywhere...

I have the Gabi cords @SnowyPheasants . I sized down as normal with Gabis and I like the fit that gives. I haven’t looked at my bum from behind though 😬. I think sizing down makes. Them a neat fit on me - hopefully!

@SnowyPheasants i have them too. I would size down 1 size from your normal high street size. I would buy a 14 anywhere else and all my Gabis are 12. They are incredibly comfy, but yes they have a high waist. I don’t think they work for tucking stuff in to be honest due to the length between waist and crotch. I too don’t look at my behind :) I wear them all the time!

I wonder if wearing loose tops over them might add bulk? I don't go in for tucking much anyway but lots of mad fabric at the hip/waist would ruin the lines a bit.
I love Toast but they are incredibly generous with fabric..

@SnowyPheasants - here's a pic of the cord gabis with a loose jumper over the top. I'm 5'4 and they were rolled up a tiny amount - they're ankle length if unrolled

random question has anybody ever dyed corduroy and does it work well? I bought a pair of concrete Gabi cords from Vinted but I think the colour is a little bit light. Tempted to dye them maybe an olive-y green a bit like the Pear colour, but i am nervous and don’t want to ruin them! Can’t think of any other colour I would want them

I was thinking of dyeing my black Ashley jeans which still have plenty of wear in them but have faded to a grey. I’d welcome any advice please if anyone has tried this before I invest in another pair.

It should work fine, Snowy , the only danger is if they are not garment dyed ( and I think that they are) which would mean that the thread wouldn't dye
