My toast order arrived. I bought the bitter chocolate fair isle (knitwear is my weakness!) and some socks. The sweater is a true deep chocolate. The Kindred gift is beautiful but won't say what it is as I don't want to spoil everyone's surprise. I was delighted with the 25% off - very unusual. I picked my wishlist too which was of course had to include the lofty fair isle, and then the embroidered poplin shirt and the tie neck dress. I hope someone on this thread wins their wishlist! Fingers crossed

That's so weird @Noeggsontoast , in my phone it looks grey, it's a beautiful jumper.

I've entered the competition as well! I never usually win things though. Interesting to hear everyone's wish list - mine was the silk cotton Peter pan collar shirt (love this), Emily Nixon ring and the utility jumpsuit.
I'm tempted to order a pair of socks from the 25% off but wondering how thick they are - are they more of a wearing round the house sock (thick) or can they be worn with shoes / boots (where I prefer my socks to be thinner)?

These uniqlo fairisle jumpers arrived today: the cream in the Large and the grey in the Medium. I am a 12 and they both fit well. They are lovely for the price: £34.90. I also like that they are not wool (don't feel scratchy or artificial though) as I get too hot. Definitely worth looking at if you like Toast jumpers.

@dudsville I know what you mean as I'd hesitated as I thought it had a greyish tinge but thought I'd see for real.

@faustina that was me. I'd been not looking at this thread so I could have a surprise when my parcel was delivered. Then I thought oh my what if everyone else likes a surprise like I do! Lol

@ToastCosILoveIt I looked at those jumpers and are lovely. Colours were too similar to another jumper so I didn't purchase.

I did buy this jumper from white stuff - it totally reminds me of the current men's Toast fair isle jumper which I love- wish they had it in a women's size.

I'm enjoying seeing everyone's purchases, I just did some window shopping on the toast site and found about 40 items i would be happy to see in a sale, but also I've been looking at them so much now that things coming in around the £130 mark are starting to look like a fine deal.

Also, i have a sale purchase on nov 28th 2021 (i bought the olive oil coat and the palm print dress, both firm favourites and much loved!). Does anyone know what this was in relation to, is that black friday?

Google confirmed. For some reason i thought toast didn't do typical sale times.

Last year they called it the ‘Winter Archive Sale’ and the year before. ‘Shop past collections at up to 50% off’. I found the email, this isn’t my amazing memory!

Last November was a great sale - bought 4 dresses at £55-65 each which seems like a real bargain now. Also a pair of £9 cashmere socks.

The Toast fairisle scarf arrived, Its lovely.. I do wish that it was a couple of inches wider as its a bit wide for a scarf but not quite enough for a wrap.. but I am keeping it anyway.. It will live on my sofa as a snuggly and will be well used and compliments my living room colour scheme ( dusty teal, citrine yellow and grey) beautifully..

Love the kindred garland gift also !

Ah this thread’s sprung back to life, lots of lovely looking purchases! I went to the Cambridge shop today specifically to (re) try the green velvet pinafore and some other dresses. I’ve now confirmed 100% the velvet pinafore isn’t for me - too ‘much’, I just don’t think I’d wear it enough.

I did buy the Etched floral dress which I’m really pleased with. I have last year’s one which was an apricot Scandi-style floral and I just love the style. It’s super comfy and easy to wear but looks like you’ve made an effort - the perfect combination.

The shop was really well-stocked today and the assistants were lovely, really friendly.

That's is a really nice dress @Saurus72 , i love the colours. And that's a novel use for the fair isle @Laska2Meryls , what a good idea. I know what you mean @Stoic123 , mine was £60!
