I was in a large boots a while ago and got a sample of it cc cream in light.
There seemed to be only 3 shades, light , medium( and i presume dark , but didnt look at that one)
It was fantastic. So i drove and hour and half to my nearest big boots last week to buy it.. but boots have stopped selling it. Well , at least one i went to.
So, i am sure it just said light on it...
But when i look on the web site it appears that there are lots of shades.! I did the virtual try on but just csnt tell which shade was good.
I am pale, redhead. I look grey in winter.
I am neutral tone. Neither warm or cool, but id say visually cool wd look better than warm.
Does anyone know if the shade light waa more likely to be the illumanatimg one , and if so,is it good.
? What is the original like?
( with lots of shades i think) and how on earth to choose on line??
I have red hair, warm red, but cool / neutral pale skin. Not the v v pale skin, one up. No freckles, just clear pale skin with no warmth or pink.blue eyes.
Any advice appriciated ! Been dithering a month!!

I love this CC cream! I have the light medium which is perfect for me but I would say if you are pale then the fair-light might be best for you. I know you’ve tried the virtual try on but have you tried the find my shade? You can enter the details of what shade you use from another brand and it will tell you your best match.
Find your shade

@caramelsauce thank you so much for this!
I’ve been doing exactly as OP. I’m desperate to try it but just couldn’t decide on the shade and it’d be an expensive mistake to make. What a brilliant tool. Thank you.

No problem. I didn’t use it myself when I picked my shade but I have just tried it out of curiosity and entered the shade of my foundation from il makiage and it matched me with light-medium which is what I have so I’d say it’s accurate!

I use the light medium and I’m not fair or pale and it’s perfect for me so I would say the lighter one.
