I'm a freelancer and I usually work from home in joggers and hoodies. I have some nice things I can throw on for client-facing stuff, but my work wardrobe is limited to about four different outfits on rotation.

I've got a new client in the city and I'll be working with them face to face at least twice a week, so I need to expand my wardrobe. They're quite a conservative place, so I need to go a bit more classic than my usual style. But I don't want to go full on Thomas Pink shirt and loafers.

I'm a bit stuck about where to look. Normally I'd go to Whistles/Cos/Zara, but I'd like something a bit more 'professional'. Where do women who work in the city shop for workwear?

There seem to have been several of these types of threads recently- I lurk on all of them as my work wardrobe needs to run the gamut from being ultra stretchy + washable (so nice flow trousers from somewhere like MintVelvet+ a naice jumper from Zara/Dunnes/Hilfiger) right up to suited and booted for Court.

Depending on budget you can get suitable stuff from
Arket

Dont know about your industry, but MintVelvet has a nice selection of blazers at the moment: www.mintvelvet.co.uk/collections/blazers
I'm thinking about this one as I tried it in-store:

Again, industry dependent but Helmut Lang do v well cut and comfortable blazer + trouser suits.
Reiss are a slightly less expensive version, but not as well cut in my experience.

Hobbs-It's not the most exciting shop in the world but its clothes are very suitable for smart workwear.
