Botox first timer what should I know?

With zero research I'm having botox done by a recommended lady on Tuesday. Having it for lines on my forehead because covid aged me 9000 years and possibly to stop sweating on my hairline as my face seems to be the only place I sweat and it's embarrassing.

Any tips, anything I should know before my appointment? Will it hurt or leave obvious markings I can't cover that day?

Yes it will hurt but only as it's being done, there's no residual pain. You will look like you've been attacked by bees for a couple of hours but it goes down pretty fast.
Be prepared that it won't work straight away, it will take up to two weeks to see the results.
No strenuous exercise swimming/sauna the following day and try to sleep on your back that night to stop any settling in the wrong spots.
You may have a headache for a day or two.

Good luck!

You may have a couple of tiny bruises or blood spots. My doc says all the stuff about not doing exercise etc is not true. Botox doesn't settle like filler. No bee attacks here.
