Face wash for sensitive skin

Hi all, I've been using Elemis Super food face wash but recently after using it my face flares up with red spots / rash all over my cheeks and chin.

I'm looking for some alternatives. I'm not really good with skincare so I don't know what ingredients I should look out for or avoid.

What are your best every day face wash?

Clinique take the day off cleansing balm. La Roche Posay also have some nice products for sensitive skin.

Thank you, I might try and grab some clinique stuff and see how it goes.

I’ve got sensitive skin and have used Cetaphil for 20 years very gentle while still feeling like my skin is being washed

Toleriane from La Roche Posay.

A huge tube, usually there is an offer for in in Boots.

Burt's Bees sensitive facial cleanser. The only thing I can use as my face is hyper sensitive to everything.

Have you tried a cleansing oil or balm? It's often the foaming agents that cause flare ups for sensitive skin. Oils are gentler. M&S Pure do a decent oil and balm.

I’ve tried all kinds from expensive to cheap. One of my favourites is actual the Boots Cucumber range. My skin is really nice with it. If you want something to boost it, get a nice serum. I also love the Sukin range. All natural, vegan, cruelty free.

I second this. I've just discovered cetaphil gentle cleanser and it's completely transformed my sensitive combination skin. I have now bought extra for my DCs - it's that gentle, but still works.

Cerave non foaming gel cleanser does the trick for me. I move onto Superdrug vitamin E balm hot cloth cleanser in winter as my skin feels drier.

Cetaphil every time

Oat Milk by the Inky List is very sensitive friendly

Pai! I bang on about them so much you’d think I was some sort of ambassador! Their products are so soothing and don’t make my face sore or breakout.
I do think they’re on the pricey side but every time I’ve run out and tried something else, I’ve regretted it and my skin has got bad again.
