What colour waterproof coat?

Would you go black or sandy/tan yellow? TIA.

I would go for as bright as possible. Winter is dull and we can all do a little bit to brighten it up.

black but wear a bright scarf

I've got the same dilemma. I've found a waterproof jacket I like in either yellow or a bluey grey. I'm hugely tempted by the yellow but I think practicality will win. I've got some nice warm scarves and hats that would brighten up the grey coat but look terrible with yellow. Not to mention my coloured cords and boots.
Cheerful is one thing but jolly cbeebies presenter isn't the look I'm aiming for. Thanks OP, you've helped me make my decision. Good luck with yours.

I was looking at nice sensible khaki and navy ones recently… then saw they had it in a gorgeous pale raspberry pink so went for that. As a previous poster said, winter is dark enough! And lighter colours are safer in the dark as they are more visible.
