My wardrobe needs a revamp and I have this image of a more grown up style without being frumpy.

I really like this dress, but it's expensive to me and will have to earn it's keep. (I also like the idea of fewer, better items).

So, I see it with sparkly heels for Christmas parties, chunky navy or cream boots and a wool biker jacket for the pub, heeled navy boots for a fancy dinner in winter and flat cream sandals (or even trainers?) as we move into Spring. More formal shoes or sandals for fancier spring/summer events.

What do you think? Or will it be something I like but rarely wear?

If it makes a difference, I'm 52, tall, blonde, size 10.

It's beautiful. But I think it's the halter that lends it to summer parties and not winter pub.

Party dress. Not sure if you'd be able to dress it down so much? It's gorgeous though

I know you said it’s out of stock but if you manage to find a similar dress an idea for dressing it down and wearing in winter is to wear a knitted jumper over the top so it looks like a skirt. Wear a belt over the dress then wear the jumper over the top and tuck it in the belt so the belt is hidden.

It’s beautiful but can’t see how you would wear that at the pub.

The halter neck is the feature and that’s what you need to show off. I can’t see the point in wearing something over the top of it. 🤷‍♀️

Summer wedding/posh party.

You could wear it with a jumper over the top so it's like a skirt with boots
