The clouds parted and the wind dropped, and I had a lovely hour of tennis
Now changed, and in last year's Baukjen flares, New Balance trainers, ancient (and holey) Breton and new Boden tank top.

Getting my 4th jab today.
T-shirt, cardigan - Sezane (Gaspards are really as comfy as everybody was saying!)
Jeans - Uniqlo

I really needed layers yesterday as it was mild outside, boiling at work and cold in the house. To add complications I cycled to work! Top boden, jeggings H&M. Worn with Zara jumper.

@Greyhairwarmheart my house also frequently seems colder inside than out. How is that even possible?

I'm in Melbourne and find this happens in spring and autumn, so always poke my head out of the door to find out what's going on.

While I'm here, and Melbourne isn't entirely springlike, I'm wearing black merino trackies from Aldi and a grey and blue striped wool thermal from Target* as a t-shirt. Fake Ugg-style sheepskin slippers. I'm too warm, but the weather's all over the place.

*The thermal top was bought nearly ten years ago and now fits again as I'm a bit thinner. I really mention it because all-wool garments were commonplace and cheap then, even in shops such as Target. Not so much now.

Quickly dressed for a forgotten hair appointment this morning.

DM Core Alix boots - my favourite DMs ever because of the almond-shaped toe, which you can't really appreciate from the outfit pic

@echt yea I do this regularly, you'll see an arm or leg stick out of my front door (I'm testing the "coldness), it must look so odd to people passing 🤣
Its because the insulation in houses now is really very poor or lacking@faffadoodledo and @Greyhairwarmheart so the houses hold heat in summer more so than they should and then get very cold the minute the weather takes a turn, even slightly milder, mine does exactly the same thing it's soooo annoying! By winter I'm in about 5 layers🙈

Some decent light levels for a change! The plan for this afternoon is giving the dog a shower - a rather large and giddy German shepherd so it's a military operation that will involve changing into swimwear, mops and numerous towels. In the meantime:

Ha ha @Cardigansalltheway all the way. My spaniel gets the hose and/or buckets of warm water as I can’t cope with the mess!

@Cardigansalltheway 🤣 same here I end up looking like a drowned rat when I bath mine (bullmastiff) then midway through drying he gets a fit of excitement and charges up and down stairs and bashes into any closed door, he's like a bull in a China shop!!! (I'm left on my ass with towels on my head)🙈

Love that blouse @Sooverthemill , I've been looking at it for some time. Does it crease a lot? Is it tts?

I went to try on some suits today after having my vaccine, and this is what I ended up with. I loved the slimmer trousers much more, but they are itchy (70% wool which I'm usually not very sensitive to!) and have zero stretch. Looks perfect when you stand, uncomfortable to sit down and impossible to crouch.
So in the end I chose to buy the so-much-dreaded-by-me wide trousers, not a fan of the silhouette, but they are comfy, I don't feel itchy in them and they seem to be warm enough. They are obviously meant to be worn with heels, but I'm about 2.6 inches taller than an average Japanese woman, so I'll be wearing those with flats since I almost never wear heels.

@toucaninjapan I actually think the wide leg ones look better, the suit looks amazing beautiful colours on you😍
