Talk me about cream boots?

A lot of styling seems to be like this atm.

I quite like it. I suppose the dress could be worn with darker boots, but the look wouldn't be the same. But, are cream boots strictly only for this transition period (and therefore only a few weeks) or would I wear them through the winter?

For me it would be chunkier boots with a more manageable heel. What would you do about tights?

I absolutely love my cream boots! They’re great for transitioning. Or, in winter, wear with brown, camel, or neutral trousers.

They are great with a heel. I think you have to be a bit careful with flat ones as you can look a bit like a fishmonger in them

Honestly @Explaintome I really don't like the boots you've linked to. They're very different to the boots in your OP.

How would you style your linked boots? They seem neither here nor there.

I love the ones you linked. I nearly bought some very similar last year but thought I would only end up wearing them for a few weeks every year

I’ve got some that I admired last year and bought in the sale a few months ago (different brand). I absolutely love them - hence buying in sale months and months after noticing them. I think they look best with a one colour dark outfit (black, charcoal, brown) and either a coat or bag with some white/cream/chalk in it.

I got these from M & S, in store though, can't see them online, hence my photos. They had loads, so not an end of line. Leather, inside zip, half sizes and £69 🙌🏼
