Secret wedding, what would you wear?

I've been with DP for 12 years we are early 30s. For various reasons we want to be legally married but we have a disabled child who can't cope being away from us for a long time. We are going to nip along to get married when he is at special needs nursery in the morning at 10am! Just us.

We are very in love and I actually don't really mind about a big thing.

My question is... What would you wear? I have quite an easy shape to dress, hour glass 10-12, I'm 5ft 8, autumn colouring, I suit a bold lip.

I don't feel I would remotely want a big proper wedding dress... But I'd still like to look gorgeous! Can anyone inspire me, what would you wear if you were me?!

I wore a Grace dress in blue for my small (6 guests) wedding. Felt great.

I have my secret wedding on Saturday. I'm wearing this:

the first one you linked too was fab. BUT you will be cold and need a jacket or something which would spoil it.

So I'd go for something with shoulder/sleeve so you don't need to wear anything over it.

Go glam, why not? and if you do have a party in a couple of years, you could wear it again, so they all get to see you in your fab glam dress.

One thing I would suggest - get someone who take good photos to come. You can do it with a decent phone. Then afterwards go somewhere, prefereably outdoors and take a few really good pics.
You can use them as marriage announcement to everyone, but also just have a great one up at home to remind you.

A young Idris Elba? Lucky you! Some of the dresses on here are fab and I agree now is the time to wear the dress you really want.

Ghost dresses feel lovely on and suit an hourglass figure. This would be easy to wear with heels or boots.

Hello if anyone is interested, I chose a dress. Really happy with it. Long sleeved so I don't need anything over it.

I've got some gorgeous hair accessories as I have very long hair down to lower back.

Ah lovely idea but my son has additional needs and there is no way I could risk an expensive dress, there isn't a day that he doesn't stain me 😂

I just felt I would be chilly and I'd need extra layers in the red.... I've got a body shapewear thing and it makes a gorgeous smooth shape in the green dress. I've got a little diamond for around my neck as it's all exposed across the chest. Plus makes my bum look good which DH will love haha
