I’ve got to wear heels tomorrow and haven’t had a chance to break them in. Any tips?

Put them on with your thickest socks and wear them for as long as you can stand it.

Thick socks and run the hairdryer over the shoes…..carefully!

while wearing the shoes obvs

I would apply preventative plasters to both heels and both little toes. And i would swing by Boots in the morning and buy that Compeed balm that is transparent and put it all over toes and heels to prevent blisters - helps a lot.

Thank you! Currently sporting DH’s thick socks and have just had a hairdryer on them!
Good idea about plasters. Unfortunately we are nowhere near a chemist/boots etc.

Another thing you can do if they’re hurting at the heels is hold the shoes over the steam from a boiling kettle and sort of manipulate it to soften it a bit. Then whilst the shoes are still warm do the thick socks routine.

You can rub vaseline in too to soften them. Depending on the material.

If you have any stick deodorant is a really decent dupe for those blister sticks. It’s just about creating a barrier to the skin that won’t come off of your feet get hot.

Hair conditioner helps soften the leather, inside not out
