anti-redness creams

Has anyone used any effective anti-redness creams, specifically for extreme redness after exercising? I don't have rosacea or anything like that, as far as I know. Just huge facial sweating, and extreme redness, the sort that can last for a couple of hours after a bit of exercise (nothing extreme, either - enough to get my heart rate up, and some degree of sweating and redness is expected, but not like this!!). I have really bad facial sweating at other times as well, but not the redness. Of course some of it is that I'm not very fit (which is why I'm trying to exercise more) but it's not the fact that I get red quickly that is the problem, but it's the degree of redness and the duration it lasts after I'm done that is.

There are lots of creams and concealers available that say anti-redness, but they are mostly for rosacea. Some green-tinted ones to hide it under make-up, but also others that are just soothing creams to help with sensitivity and inflammation, which I don't know if I have.

Various online articles about post-workout redness talk about cooling your face after, which I do, and then list some of these various creams, but the product pages for the creams never say that it's really for this sort of thing, so I'm not sure if the articles have actually tested the creams for that purpose - or if they've only tested them with people who have rosacea anyway. They are often pretty expensive, so I don't want to just try lots of them on spec

Anyone tried any of them, or any other effective things that might help? It means that I can't exercise in the day and expect to look presentable shortly after I'm done - even if my heart rate is normal, I've cooled down generally, got dressed, etc, my face is still bright red and hot

I have no advice sorry, but I'm the same. The slightest exertion and I'm bright red. I do spinning 2 times a week and I often get shocked looks because of my face afterwards!
I've grown used to it but it is a pain as it lasts for hours so can't do any exercise before wanting to go somewhere. Tried to get in to the habit of doing a class before work but the comments for the rest of the day were too much!

Hoping someone else can come along and offer advice. Flowers

I’ve tried loads and I don’t think they work. If you have any red veins then they ca be treated, but creams made no difference to overall appearance

Thanks, and I'm sorry to hear that others suffer as much with this!

I don't think it's red veins or actual red patches that need to be treated or even covered up really, as the rest of the time they're not a problem. But it's that long-lasting redness I hate.

Exactly that - can't exercise within a few hours of wanting to go out somewhere, as my face will still be too red and I'll get comments, or if I do put makeup or anything on, it will just come off.
