I’m moving from a job where I wear t shirts and joggers with trainers to a job with a more formal dress code.
Im unsure exactly what the dress code will be yet, but I imagine not so formal that it makes service users feel on edge.
It’ll be a real adjustment as I live in comfortable clothes and am uncomfortable with me weight so have hidden behind them for quite some time.
I need some ideas of what types of outfits I should go for and recommendations of where to look for comfortable shoes, flat, the type that will go with most outfits. I do not own one pair of shoes 😩

I find these super comfy and smart. Can wear with dresses and skirts as well as trousers.

I wear a pair of oxford or derby shoes - like brogues but without the broguing. I have a pair that are extremely comfortable but don't look it.

I tend to wear loafers, smart black or grey trousers, patterned blouse or velvet T-shirt and coordinated cardigan.
I did quite well out of Mango for blouses this time last year, but it depends what sort of thing appeals.
