Thick socks when you're a size 8 foot..

All socks seem to go 4-8 so they end up stretched over my hooves, how they think one size fits sizes 4 - 8 is beyond me.
I'd like some nice thick socks for when I'm wearing my hiking boots.

Buy men's socks

Exactly what I came on to say 😀 mens usually have a size 8-11 range which are much better, don't feel like your toes are being squished.

Men's socks, or wearing two pairs of socks helps avoid blisters when you're walking.

I can't wear trainer socks for that reason. And mens are too wide! Frustrating.

My feet cause much frustration to be honest 🤣

I've done so in the past, I guess I'll have to again. Men's don't have as nice colour choices 😂

Last time I was in Uniqlo there was a wall of brightly coloured mens socks, like a rainbow with maybe 40 shades. sadly for me they all started at an 8…

Men's socks on BAM are good

Try smart wool. They are very expensive but absolutely lovely and you only need one pair if it’s for hiking boots.

Falke trekking socks are excellent and include size 41-42. Expensive but worth it if you have the money.

I have nice colourful hiking socks from decathlon in 7-9. Their men's ski socks have mountains on. DH's are much prettier than mine!

Cambridge sock co. is the one I always recommend on here. Great range of colours in all sizes.

Some of Next women's socks come in a 6-9 which work well

I have exactly your problem and so I buy mens socks, size 9-12. No very exciting colours, but they're comfy, and don't pull on my toes like the usual womens socks do.

Well I feel strangely comforted that there are others in similar Socktuations...

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll have a nose through. Sock makers need to catch up, I bet there's lots of women with size 8 and over.

I am a 7/8 and often go with supermarket mens socks as cheaper ones tend to shrink. So I have some Sainsburys mens boot socks on right now that have been through the tumble dryer a couple of times and are now perfect. Even when I was a comfortable 7 pre dc I found womens sock just a little small, they would slip down.
