Diamond earrings

I need some diamond earrings for a wedding next week. I'm not big on precious stone jewelry so this is new to me.

I'd also like a dainty diamond bracelet to go with. Gold preferably.

Any recommendations? The bride likes bling so sparkly is good. I like simple, elegant style. Thanks

And I'm not very fussy, moissanite or CZ would probably be fine!

I was going to suggest Brum Jewellery Quarter but if CZ will do, that’s different.

”Dainty” and “bling” sound like opposites TBH.

Have you got a budget ? Can you post any examples you’ve seen?

Yeah I'd say me and the bride have quite different tastes!

I need something I can get my hands on quickly as I'm at the wedding next week.

Budget a few £100, not big.

Have a look at these: trudiamonds.co.uk/

Swarovski is your easiest bet 🤷🏻‍♀️ available at most shopping malls. They have bigger more gaudy stuff but also more classic or even dainty jewellery

Buy lab diamonds, I've bought from TruDiamonds before and they are really good, at a fraction of the price you'd pay for mined diamonds

GeneralSOneill · 22/09/2022 16:47

Ah yes, lab diamonds. My engagement ring is a lab diamond (I don't wear much jewelry and never rings, so an expensive piece was lost on me). I don't think the place my ring come from exists anymore.

I've bought from Tru Diamonds and from Brilliant Inc and they are both good quality. I'm not sure if you would get earrings in time ordering online though. My most recent order from Tru Diamonds took three weeks.

After I ended up with three odd diamond earrings after losing their partner I buy Diamonique from QVC. I've had some for over 25 years and they still look exactly the same as the day I bought them.

I have real diamonds but wear Diamonique instead.

I wore Diamonique jewellery at my wedding, still in really good nick.

Otherwise Accessorize or Swarovski. Also the John Lewis website.

GeneralSOneill · 22/09/2022 21:20

Thanks to @grey12 I went to Swarovski and bought something which fits the bill perfectly! Blingy enough for the bride yet dainty enough for me to not feel like I've raised the dressing up box!

I have this bracelet from Warren James.
It's very sparkly and also very cheap.
