This coat

Or the various versions they've got of it.

Over never bought a coat from monsoon before.
And this is why I like going in store.
Is this coat warm do you think?
Or do you think it will be thin?

I mean it's lovely to look at but that's irrelevant compared to functionality. It doesn't actually look like it would do a good job of keeping a child warm or dry and it has no hood plus the pockets don't appear to be anything more than decorative so nowhere to put gloves.

Therefore unless it was only being worn to cover a dress on the way to a party as per the description I doubt it would be much good.

Mmm maybe you're right

I bought for my Gd coats like this from Monsoon and also M&S , I also got lovley ones from Next, but I bought them all second hand on eBay, this style of coat is usually only worn a few times as it’s more for best, so when people sell them they are like new, I also sold them on again for the same reason. Always found them warm as they are usually a wool mix.

Gorgeous. My eldest DD always has a best coat and we’ve had similar from monsoon in the past. They’re lovely and warm and have kept really well. We’ve saved a couple of them for any future daughters which we now have so they’ll be getting worn again in a few years.

Obviously, these aren’t park, walk or nursery coats but they’re lovely coats for appropriate trips.

Mmm it's so gorgeous
But wondering if I'm going to spend that much if I'd be better paying for coat from Boden that's like a normal style coat

I've gone for the more 'normal' coat with Boden
20 per cent off.
I think this is the most expensive item I've ever bought her, of clothes anyway
