Hi,

I'm looking to buy some new boots. Has anyone purchased any lately and if so what are they like.

I like chunky and ankle length.

I bought these last year but I'm yet to dig them out this autumn. I also have these but they are a good few years old. Both pair required no breaking in. The solovair are much better quality than the DM's just as a FYI.

Sorry to thread jump but I'm looking for Chelsea boots this year and was swaying between the Solovair and th DM ones. Would you say the Solovair are better for the money?

Solovair are 100% better quality than DM's and are by far better value for money. I have 4 pairs of Solovairs and none of them have required any breaking in.

I switched from DM's a few years back because the quality kept declining.
