Why are people obsessed with making their eyebrows enormous?!

Who do you mean by 'people' and what do you mean by 'obsessed'? I've never met anybody who was 'obsessed' with the size of their eyebrows; what do they say to you to indicate this?

Eyebrow fashoions have been changing since I was in high school in the late 90s. Back then it was a thin line.

Who are you referring to? I don't feel as though I've seen anyone with comically large brows recently, online or in real life. I fill mine in a little but can't say I feel particularly strongly about it as long as they're tidy.

Aside from the fact they can do what they like to their brows, what's the issue?
