I love this but it's too expensive:

Also I have massive boobs! So nothing too low cut.

Bombshell always look to have nice occasion wear.

Oh that Marina Rinaldi! (Tho also oh! That price!)

I’m a similar size and have a really good black lace, fullskirted midi-dress with a Bardot neckline and 3/4 sleeves that has done brilliant service for a posh dinner where you want something elegant without too much boob.

It was weirdly from Joanie (about six years ago when maybe the stock was different?!). But I remember having to look quite hard to find it and being slightly amazed when it was good quality and fitted me brilliantly. I say this because there are sometimes good things in surprising shops for not too much ££££. But right now there are slim pickings! This is probs the nearest thing to it I can see

I quite like this but the bra situation would not work for my ample bosoms www.coastfashion.com/plus-statement-embroidered-maxi-dress/BCC02474-105-351.html

I think in a few weeks you might have more choice as party dresses come in?

Also: I think this would look elegant if you’re ok with solid black (I have worn black to an event like this but just flagging) and I find mango is well cut for curves

@Tangelo , that's lovely, very Adele (think she wore a similar looking Balenciaga at Glastonbury?)

Maybe something like this would work, goes up to a 40J cup www.bravissimo.com/products/alexa-bra-ln553/

Or a bra converter www.bravissimo.com/products/low-back-converter-32-pf104/

Tangelo · 21/09/2022 20:49

@Defiantlynot41 i have never used a bra converter - maybe I should give one a go (tho I am not sure my tits need any encouragement to head for my waist tbh!)

ShirtingForkBalls · 21/09/2022 21:00

Ooo love that Coast dress @Tangelo Smile

In fact both Coast dresses!
I can't do jump suits. I feel they just look wrong on larger ladies.

Not feeling the JL dresses so much. They look a bit to old for my taste.

Try Lipsy Curve (at Next). Surprisingly flattering and lots of choice.

ShirtingForkBalls · 21/09/2022 21:07

Have never tried a bra converter either. But honestly at a 38FF i'm going to beed all the support I can muster!
