Just bought this coat in TKmaxx brand is Maison Lener and is a lovely light wool
I have a few wool coats but nothing in this colour and think it would go with lots of things - it’s dark grey and off white
only reason I’m hesitating is it’s been an expensive few weeks

New coat opinions please

Love that!! Something I would buy myself!

Not a fan and doesn't look practical for the winter at all

HansZimmerframe · 19/09/2022 22:47

It's ok. Nothing groundbreaking. I think it's a bit boring as is, but that's just me. It's certainly not offensive.

It's pretty unremarkable I think - nothing to dislike, looks comfortable. Is it not lined though? Maybe not that warm for winter.

I like the colour/print, I have a similar coat (albeit longer) and I find it goes with a lot of my wardrobe. This one looks an odd length and a boxy fit though, which I'm not so much a fan of, or the single button closure.

For me it would need to be longer in length, thicker and have more buttons or a belt to past muster as a winter coat or be something I reached for a lot, but that's me.

You've already got several wool coats. Return it. It's nice enough but you don't need it, and you don't love it or you wouldn't be asking on here.

JaceLancs · 20/09/2022 21:29

It’s true that if I loved it more I wouldn’t be asking!
it feels amazing and is a great fit and very flattering but I’m still wearing lightweight jackets
it will have to do the wardrobe door test for a bit longer
Thank you everyone
