Perfume Help Please

I really want a new perfume, but every time I go in a shop and try some, my nose gets overwhelmed after the first three or four and I end up leaving.
Wondered if you lovely lot could help me identify what I’m looking for instead….
I hate musky scents, prefer floral/fruity and warmer tones (I.e. Issy Miyake is too cold/grassy). I’m not a fan of the ‘spicier’ perfumes either. Individual scents like jasmine and rose are lovely, but I’ve yet to find an actual perfume that brings them together. I want something with some staying power, but that won’t knock people sideways on the train.
Does it exist??

You sound similar to me, except that I avoid fruit. I’ve just bought Chloe Naturelle, after deciding Issey Miyake was too penetrating.

I love the ones that are a bit different - Addicted to Byredo lately. If you have a Space NK or department store that has some of the more unusual brands. I find the standard perfumes in shops quite harsh and give me a headache. I'd reccommend Byredo, Malin and Goetz, Escentric Molecules, Jo Malone, Clean Reserve. All a bit different, and not often someone else will be wearing the same as you :-)

I think that you might like Prada Les Infusions de iris. Or for a more economical and perhaps stronger fruity floral, Paradise by Next! Can try in store or buy a handbag size spray for a fiver.

Thank you adding these to my list to try!
