Body moisturiser recommendations!!

That is actually good for your skin!
I don't want anything designer or full of perfume... just a really good daily moisturiser for the body for very dry/sensitive skin.
So far I've tried -

E45 - don't rate it
Aveeno (all varieties) - I use this on my face but on my body i find it very sticky
Vaseline - the best results so far but feel it's very greasy and doesn't absorb fully... almost leaving a coating
Cetraphil (I think that's how you spell it!) - the comfiest one to wear but results aren't that great

Any recommendations?
I've just bought a niva one today. My mum says she's sworn by nivea her whole life so hoping for some good results 🥰

Aveeno skin relief.
I have terrible eczema and sensitive skin that cannot even stand soap. Using this stuff over last few years has genuinely improved the health of my skin.

I love aveeno for my face which is by far my most sensitive and dry prone skin... it's been such a game changer! but on my body I find it so uncomfy! I think I have some sensory issues with sticky moisturiser 🙈

I hate greasy body lotions that don’t sink in quickly. Somebody recently recommended a Garnier one in the pale green bottle. It is fantastic, so light but so moisturising. It doesn’t leave you feel sticky and absorbs so quickly. I was seriously impressed for the cost. I got it from amazon for about a fiver. They do a hand cream on the same range that is great too.

This is the one.

Cetraben. By far the best and I have very very dry skin. Not greasy and quickly absorbed by the skin. I buy the 500ml bottle and it lasts ages.

Have you tried different aveeno products? I have one that i use on my face (which i actually think might be more of a hand cream for others!) but then a different one i used on body. The pump one and the one with the jar lid vs the ones in the tubes are very very different consistencies. So worth trying if you haven't.

dudsville · 18/09/2022 19:53

I like many versions of nivea. The blue tub is great for hands and feet, but also the white tub version that's easier to apply, i have a blue pump version in the bathroom for after showers. I also like estee lauder night time something or other for face in winter.

The white one form Lidl, it's unscented & thick, really good for my.dry scaly legs 😄

Flopisfatteningbingforchristmas · 18/09/2022 19:55

I like this one
www.boots.com/nivea-essentials-express-hydration-body-lotion-400ml--10238676
absorbs quickly and pump so now wrestling with a bottle while you have slippy hands

Also swear by Nivea Q10.

RafasLeftBicep · 18/09/2022 19:59

This La Roche Posay one is my current favourite, soaks in wonderfully and really soothing.

I also love this CeRave one, also a great moisturiser. Their lotion one is thinner but good too, if you don't want a thick texture (I do, for my dry skin).

E45 evening primrose oil one in a blue bottle, from savers! Really moistueing and sinks in quick.

They were handing this out when i went for vaccines for covid! It was lush and very good on sensitive skin

Neutrogena hydro boost, only £3.99 marvellous stuff!

leavesonthegroundsoon · 18/09/2022 20:14

What about Weleda Light.
I like that one. I find the normal one a little heavier. But love the light cream.

PAFMO · 18/09/2022 20:18

This one. A-ma-zing.
I stockpile it. It goes in quickly, smells fresh, isn't greasy, but my god it works wonders.

Cupofteaonesugar · 18/09/2022 20:34

Wow thanks all so much
I've noted them all and will try them until I find one that works well with my skin ☺️

Any more recommendations welcome 🥰
