Knitted pencil skirts

I have two ribbed knit pencil skirts similar to the picture. One in black and one in blue.
I have absolutely no idea what to style them with for autumn. Any ideas?

Ooh where from? I have a mustard coloured one but I've worn it to death and it will one day just disintegrate as I'm walking along.

I usually wear with a chunky/cable knit jumper in a soft chenille kind of material. That sounds very 90s mum but it's nice, honestly. Tights and biker boots on the bottom.

I have one and I wear it with fine knit jumpers, always from M&S
