Flattering & comfy workwear

I have some work events and meetings coming up and need some clothes that are smart but also flattering as dc is 1 YO and I feel flabby and frumpy.

I'm a size 10 so not that big but definitely have a mum tum and need to cover that up with a flattering dress or ideally trousers that fit well around the tummy and waist. Also
struggle with tops as feel like I accentuate my big tum if I took in

need something I can order asap

please help!

I find wrap dresses very good - I'm a similar shape and size x

Have a look at Dancing Leopard Dove dress. The high waist means it skims over your tummy and it can be dressed up or down. Lots of colours and prints too.

Thanks. I can't even find dresses I like these days I don't do super long dresses. I don't mind my legs so would probably go above the knee if I'm going for dresses.

My ideal outfit is jeans or chinos with trainers and a long sleeved top so I think I'd prefer some smart but comfy trousers and maybe some loafers🤔

I like this style from M&S and have a couple of versions of it. Really comfortable and can be worn with nude or black tights, boots or shoes etc. Can shove a blazer or cardigan on top. I like them with a biker jacket and bovver boots for the pub too!

EllietheElephanti · 19/09/2022 15:59

That's nice @RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie but I have huge boobs and I don't think I high neck would flatter me

saying that, I ranch a roll neck jumper dress for casual days!

How about a hight waisted trouser with a tucked in top. The volume of the trouser disguise the midsection and the tucked in top creates a nice nipped in waist (at least this is what I tell
Used and no one has been unkind enough to to tell me otherwise).

To be honest I got my newest ones kn a whim from Asda and they are black with a white stripe elasticsted waist. Stretch crepe. I love them and look forward to wearing them for work. Patent loafers and a black ribbed t shirt (also Asda)

I'm busty. I open a few buttons, so it's basically like a shirt neckline.

Thanks @cherrypiepie i got
some trousers from H&M today that zip up at the side and they feel comfy and pretty flattering but I don't feel up to tucking in a tip because of my tum. I do want to be able to pull off that look though and have decided I will put real effort into losing weight
