Pick 3-4 colours you like/suit you and try to stick to them initially, so everything goes together.

Buy a couple of pairs of jeans (I go for blue and black). I'm a big fan of simplybe bootcut jeggings as they have plenty of stretch in them.

Buy decent boots/trainers - I find heavenly feet boots really comfortable and many styles go up to size 9. Also Skechers are really comfortable, although not sure how stylish they are.

Get a decent bag that's comfy to carry around.

Depending on what suits, get 2-3 thin jumpers in different colours that you can use for layering. Buy a few T-shirts/shirts that you can mix and match with. H&M have been good for jumpers in the past. Same principle for skirts/dresses if you wear them.

Get a decent flattering coat you really like - in a colour that suits you. If all else fails, purple, teal etc colours are supposed to suit most people.

I got some peg trousers from aesthetic laundry which are really comfy but look like trousers rather than leggings.
