Can anyone show some images or give me some ideas of their planned trouser/boot (or shoe) combinations for winter?
I’m really struggling to find a combination that suits, partly as I have disproportionately short legs and no longer like to wear a heel over about an inch and my old tried and tested skinnies with ankle boots feels a bit wrong (sort of too figure hugging). They lengthen my legs but aren’t 100% great on me as I am also disproportionately large busted. I also don’t really like black boots or shoes, though maybe need to rethink. And I get cold so my days of bare ankles are numbered. I’ve tried various things and the join between trouser (or jeans) and the footwear is always the issue. All of these new trouser shapes are bewildering me!
