Wedding that’s not a wedding, no dresses! Help!

Invited to a wedding reception with no earlier wedding. The Grooms are holding the ceremony privately a week before.
Reception is being held in a typically grand wedding type venue consisting of meal and party.
No idea what to wear, I’m a typical tomboy. Don’t wear dresses. Late 30’s, size 12-14.
Not been to a wedding since I was 15.
Any advice extremely appreciated

Would you consider a brightly coloured trouser suit? I wore a yellow linen one to a summer wedding and felt fantastic, got loads of compliments and am thrilled with the photos I’ve seen.

I hadn’t even considered a jumpsuit, brilliant, that could work!
Im still in recovery from a leg break though so heels might be an issue 🤔
