Natural looking fake tan

I've been thinking about trying fake tan again but a bit lost as there so much choice now. I'm looking for one product that I can use on my face and body that will look fairly natural (and doesn't smell to terrible!) also interested to hear peoples tanning routines or application tips and tricks.

I like Dove. I use the medium/dark and I’m pale,

I recently tried Tan Luxe the water in Light. Ran out of my usual skinny tan and went to buy more, got chatting a lady who was purchasing the water and she was saying how good it was. I was a bit dubious about a clear water spray however best one of I’ve ever used. I spray it on further enough away so it mists then lightly rub in with a mit. It comes out really even on me, also smells of lavender and develops after 6 hours in to a really natural glow. Sometimes I’ve gone out in it as it doesn’t go really dark like the usual tans you wash off. It’s a bit more expensive than others but I think well worth it, just make sure you cover the floor in case any mist goes on it and you step on it x

I just use cheapo Palmers Cocoa butter which everyone always think is natural but I can tan very well naturally anyway so maybe that's why.

Hey, I have been doing fake tanning since I turned 21, I remember that first horrible experience i had with the self tanning when i over applied the tanning lotion and it turned into orange shady streaks but after that i learned my lesson and followed the proper instructions given and a little bit research from the youtube. Tanning oils are working fine for me till now as i can experience both fake and real tanning at the same time. and it really make smooth accelerated tanning experience for my self.

Tanning oils often contain ingredients such as mineral oils that attract UV rays and can accelerate the tanning process. However, it's important to note that these oils do not typically include sun-protective ingredients, which means there is a high risk of sunburn if tanning oil is used without proper sunscreen.
To minimize the chances of sunburn, it is strongly advised to limit sun exposure during peak hours (between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM) and take precautions such as wearing protective clothing like hats and sunglasses. It is also crucial to apply sunscreen with a high sun protection factor (SPF) before going out in the sun for tanning purposes. Using sunscreen alongside tanning oil can help protect your skin from harmful UV radiation and reduce the risk of burning.
