Brown Jumper

As Autumn is closing in, I begin my usual search for a brown, fine knit v neck jumper and brown polo neck. I have searched for years and can't seem to find something suitable. Can anyone recommend please??

Zara always did those, on the flat tables where they have loads of colours.

Also pretty sure I saw one in COS a few weeks ago.

I live in West of Ireland so unfortunately don't have Zara or Cos nearby. I usually shop online so will check them out although it's often to make out what the wool is like online....nothing beats touching the jumper in person!!

I would suggest Woolovers but they only have beigey brown not tobacco/chocolate brown.

but Uniqlo don't deliver to Ireland and as you say Woolover don't have dark brown jumpers. The quest continues.....

I think you and I will have to learn to knit to satisfy our jumper cravings

I did buy a brown fleecy top last year , I don;t wear thick jumpers and the fleece was a compromise but not jumper-ey enough (if that's even a word !)

As you're in the West have you tried Carraig Donn?

I've just about given up on women's sweaters and now buy my wool v necks from the men's sections. I unfortunately can't help with specific shops as am in a different country at the moment, but I have found that the men's sections in loads of shops here will generally have a black, chocolate brown, charcoal and navy. Might be worth a look?

Is Limerick too far? There's a reasonable Zara in the Crescent shopping centre, and Brown Thomas has a Cos concession.

M&S do very good knitwear, with free returns via An Post which is helpful.

No specific suggestions (I usually buy merino from Uniqlo or M&S menswear) but as brown is 'in' this could be the season you get lucky.

OP uniqlo definitely deliver to Ireland have bought from them and in Dublin. Google uniqlo eu rather than the uk address and you can definitely order from there!

I spent all of last winter looking for a brown jumper - unsuccessfully. Good luck OP. Someone advised me to try charity shops, or menswear so that's what I'm going to do this year. Or knit my own.
