Sorel boots

I really need a new pair of boots for the winter and quite like the look of Sorel ones for walking, wearing casually with jeans etc. Before I shell out the money, do any of you have Sorel? Would you recommend? And what's their sizing like?

I love them. I’ve had them for 2 years and keep them clean after walking, mucking out etc etc and they come up like new.
I would size up at least 1/2 size. Only bug bear is the laces seem to come undone more than I’d like- but they prob just need replacing.
Worth the money x

Oh lovely, thanks @Guardup I did think I'd possibly size up for wearing thick socks, ta!!

I had some about 15 years ago. They were really heavy if I remember and I needed a slightly bigger size

Bloody love my sorel boots, I bought them in the January lockdown cos I was fed up of cold feet in the park and they have been a godsend for camping and all winter. Definitely size up, they are snug

Yes I would recommend I find them very good in coldest winter

They’re true to size and stand up well. I used to commute in mine for most of winter when I lived in the midwest and never had cold toes!

I bought in the US though so probably best to listen to other posters if the consensus is they run small. Perhaps their US to UK sizing is slightly off?

I have a pair - they are so comfortable and light and I love them. I wouldn’t size up though; they are quite roomy
