I'm mother of the groom in November and have bought a navy dress that I absolutely love. It's got some detailing on the cuff and waist that is silver/diamanté. Written down that sounds garish but it's lovely I promise.
So I'm trying to accessorise. I've had the hat made and it's also navy blue.
But I'm stuck for shoes and a bag. I've bought patent nude shoes and was going to look for a patent nude bag because that seemed like the obvious thing but the milliner said two things - that silver bag/shoes might be better or, if I kept the nude shoes, to get a bag that was calf leather (so in the same shade but not patent). What do you think?
