So who follows fashion, what's in, what boots are in this winter?

I was going to buy a pair of white ''bonnie'' boots from camper but then I thought am I losing my mind, is this garthbrooksmania making me think that white cowboy boots are a good idea.
Then I saw a really nice pair of flat chelsea boots from tommy H, again, white!
Is white over ? Will it look dated?
I'm not aiming to be high fashion, just don't want to wear a trend that's over.
What do you think folks

I was about to say that's a bit harsh until I saw the boots! Op I think there are nicer boots out there.

What terrible thing happens if you wear boots that are no longer on trend? How about you just wear what you actually like rather than what someone else decides is in this season.

Won’t necessarily look dated: just dirty pretty quickly. Not seen many white boots anywhere. A bit niche.

I have the Khaite dallas boots in white. I wore them lots over the summer with denim shorts and will probably wear them with jeans for Autumn. They're still looking pretty good, no dirty marks.

In fact, I'm sticking with my good old trusted M&S flat leather boots which did me proud last winter. Determined not to waste too much money this year.
