"Autumn" perfume

I really need to find a new perfume. Most of the ones I've got are airy "summer" perfumes and it feels odd to wear them when it's cold.

Can anyone recommend me a good one? Ones I've liked before include Angel by Thierry Mugler or Herve Leger - one doesn't smell right on me these days and the other has been discontinued.

I love Jo Malone English Oak and Hazlenut for Autumn, or Blackberry and Bay. Both have a depth and warmth which are perfect for Autumn.

For Autumn, I love NR for her EDT or if a cold autumn day, Tom Ford Lost Cherry.
I also just found an amazing scent by Zara. Red Temptation (19.99 for 80mls EDP!!) and it has amazing projection and I’ve never had so many compliments about a scent. It’s supposed to be a Bacarat Rouge dupe but I find it a lot more woody and amber and less ozonic than the original. Really gorgeous and perfect for Autumn.

Also if you like Angel, check out Floral Street Ylang Ylang Espresso. Similar vibe but not as in your face as Angel.

I am currently using Molton Brown's Suede Orris.

Serge Lutens Feminite du Bois is the ultimate Autumn perfume

Or if you want a budget perfume, Aldi's Blackberry and Bay is identical to the Jo Malone version

I like Jlo glow for autumn. It's clean and soapy and kind of cosy.

I reach for Serge Lutens Femininte du Bois or Penhaglion's Halfeti when the weather turns autumnal. They're both pretty pricy though. Another vote for Halfeti - I’ll switch to this when my Marylebone Wood runs out soon (sobs). I also love Tom Ford Tuscan Leather.

Obsession, ambery spicy and warm

Floral street make a very close match to Halfeti for about £100 less, both are very strong perfumes though that can make others feel ill!!

Prada Amber is my autumn / winter perfume - warm and subtle

Have you tried Mugler Aura? I used to love Angel but it’s too gourmand for me now - but Aura is beautiful, more green and woody, but very feminine.

This 100000% except I don't want everyone else to know about it 😂

Tauer L'air du desert Marocain/au Coeur du desert/Lonestar Memories/Lonesome Rider are all magnificent quintessential spicy autumn scents.
Chanel Coromandel too.

Look for spice notes, woods,vanilla, incense and amber.

More mainstream (and affordable!) ones I use in autumn/winter: YSL Opium, Guerlain Shalimar, Guerlain Samsara, Obsession (but you need a vintage bottle- gold line around rim, it's been reformulated beyond recognition now) Guerlain Vol de Nuit.

Gucci rush is my autumn/winter scent.

I used to love Angel years ago but don't have the £££ for pricey perfumes anymore - however aldi had a dupe in recently and it smells pretty much exactly the same (to my nose anyway). Would definitely recommend keeping an eye out to any of the Angel fans on here

Voyage d'Hermes Parfum - in the dark bottle, it has a gingery, ambery, slightly spicy smell.

In the Autumn, I usually start reaching for Hermes L'ambre des Merveilles, Guerlain Mitsouko and 1460 Tuesday’s Rome 1963.
