Heels for jeans

I’ve got a party to go to, I have refused to go to any ‘dress up’ occasion for about 5 years but I am trying to change my ways. Thought I’d wear jeans+shirt but I have no idea what heels to wear. With the rain, do people still wear ‘barely there’ heels, or a closed toe? Boots? I feel so out of my depth and uncomfortable!

I'd be inclined to wear trainers and just do your hair nicely with nice makeup. But boots would be fine. Pretty clumpy ones (DM style soles) are in fashion but others are about too.

Cow girl boots are v fashionable at the mo too and can look good with jeans (and dresses).

I feel so out of touch. I don’t know the dress code either.

Is it a house party? Special occasion?

Its a 40th birthday, in a hired sports club venue place.

If you are wearing jeans go with sexy high heels that stand out. You will look so cool 😎 👍
