I've been using it for years without a problem. Suddenly I have extremely itchy armpits and I'm slightly whiffy.

Any recommendations for an unscented alternative?

Which are you using ? I find the roller ball really strong. I use the gel.

The gel stung me sometimes, i use the cream stick

I had to stop using Mitchum due to terrible irritation. Can recommend Sure Maximum protection.

The roller.
Thanks, I'll look for the Sure one

I had this when I went from the spray to the roller ball one (online shopping substitute).

I persevered as I didn’t want to waste it and found the irritation went away within about a week of use. I’m almost at the end of it and wondering whether to stick with it or go back to the spray. I haven’t noticed any difference in terms of effectiveness but I think the spray has more of a tendency to mark clothing if I’m not careful putting a top on after applying it.

Sure maximum protection is great.

Sanex zero stick deodorant. Bloody amazing!

I suddenly developed an allergy to all antiperspirant deodorants a couple of years ago - nasty itching, peeling skin. It looked like chemical burns.

I switched to use a PitRok crystal deodorant. It’s in scented and you wipe it on your armpits while they’re still wet after a shower. I couldn’t see how it could possibly work but it’s bloody brilliant - no smell at all even on the hottest days or when exercising and no allergic reaction. the downside is that it’s not antiperspirant, but your body adapts over a week or two and seems to produce less sweat there as a result. I use a normal antiperspirant on the very hottest days of the year but otherwise I just use the PitRok. I’ve had it for nearly 2 years now and I’m not even half way through it. It’s been a game changer.

I started using the Mitchum roll on about a week ago because my usual brand was out of stock and my pits are itching like crazy. I've used Dove Pearl Beauty roll on for years its not strongly scented.
