Gel moisturiser

I subscribe to the Look Fantastic monthly beauty box (£15 per month). In August, one of the products was a full size (100ml) glass jar of Syrene Aqua Hydrating Masque. It's absolutely gorgeous and I'd love to replace it when it's gone but it's out of my price range at £70 a jar. I still can't believe it appeared in the £15 box, to be honest. Can anyone recommend a gel moisturiser or mask that isn't quite as expensive? Thank you 🙂

Vichy Aqualia? Small sample travel sizes are often available.
Sensei used to make a line called Waso that I liked. It seems to have vanished but it was my favourite.

Clinique Moisture Surge
And there's an Aldi dupe of the Clinique that gets raved about here, but I'm nowhere near an Aldi.

I love Clinique moisture surge but it’s also quite spendy. Loreal do a water one which is lovely though, I used it on holiday

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturising Gel. Lovely stuff and great under make up.

Full price it’s £35 for 125ml but Boots and John Lewis frequently have 20% off

In my experience with beauty products- just save up and buy that one you are after. It will be better than the 4 you buy instead. Which in total will work out the same price.

Jewelanemone · 18/09/2022 05:59

Thank you for your suggestions, everyone 🙂 I think I'll try Clinique first.

I do agree with this. The amount of 'dupes' I've bought only to be disappointed.

Thank you again, everyone! I'm being very sparing with my Syrene but I've now got lots of alternatives for when I've scraped out that last bit! 😊
