black smart work trousers for size 22

I usually wear dresses, but wanted to wear trousers.

I know black trousers is a staple, but i've never bought them before for work.

I quite fancy a bit wide leg or loose straight, as don't have skinny legs.

I am seeing ones that are viscose/poly mix. Some all viscose with elastane.
Would these look like yoga pants and too causal ?

Also 100% poly. Do they look shiny or cheap ?

My budget is up to £30.

I want to buy online, so hard to tell what the fabric looks like.

Thanks

Try Mango, they have larger / plus sizes and some nice viscose versions, with a discrete elastic waistband. The legs are also cut straighter / looser on many styles.

Thanks, I’ll take a look.

My concern with viscose and viscose/ poly mix is looking like yoga pants .

If you can stretch to £40 then I can recommend these trousers from M&S. They’re a poly/viscose blend which doesn’t sound promising, but the fabric is lovely and heavy, so they hang well. I’m pleased with mine!

Can do for the right pair. They look interesting.

M&S have lots and all seem to be the same mix of viscose and poly, but all look a bit different. Trying to work out what the difference is between the 17/22 and 39 trousers.

I always thought crepe was a light dress material, these seem more heavy ?

@MoriaRoseForever
you get different weights of crepe - these are nice and drapey. I find them flattering across the hips and bum and the rise is a good height for tucking a blouse
