Trainers

I love my veja’s but apparently they are mumsy old fashioned and try-hard! That’s according to just one thread on here. What are alternatives I should look at? I’m mid 40s if it makes a difference.

Saucony all the way. Much cooler and look great. Or new balance.

@Dogsgottabone I'm no wiser as to the fit! I don't like getting footwear online as the fit on my wide feet is often off, and wfh and kids etc I can't ever seem to get to shops. Still thinking of the trainers - either that brown/tan or workwear cream colourway.

I love them but all the colourways I like are out of stock!

I wear mine with navy tights for work so need the navy, the racing green or th multi coloured purple and blue. All OOS. darn it!

@Dogsgottabone I went to try them on today- so comfortable! I'm a size 7 and 7 was a perfect fit. They seemed quite wide too which is awesome as I have wide feet. Interestingly I tried a few other NB styles too and they seemed more snug in the same size!

@Pigtailsandall thank you. Still can't find a dark enough colour in my size.

And then DD14 told me that tights and trainers look 'disgusting' so that's me back in my box!

I like a narrow trainer so maybe a traditional NB might be better. Considering a payday trip to Office at the weekend to try some on.

I’m over white trainers.

The last pair were b/w zebra ponyskin Madewells - insanely comfortable.
