Jeans help! Mom jeans?

I’m looking for some new jeans (just had my second child and don’t fit into my pre-pregnancy ones yet) am thinking mom jean’s because I’m really not liking my thighs and they seem to be a a bit looser on the thigh and I quite like black ones.

The problem I’m having is the gaping at the back of the waist. Can anyone recommend any jeans that they find don’t do this?

All of my jeans do this. I have a big bum and smaller waist in comparison.

The only thing that helps Is a belt.

I’ve lived in jeans from Matalan since I had my baby. Super comfy with a bit of stretch so don’t gape anywhere

I also have a big bum and thighs and narrower waist. I'm loving the trend for barrel leg personally, and i like wide leg but sometimes taper them as i don't like the squared off finish. These still fit me loosely, in accordance with the style, but tend to fit my waist better.

I’ve tried a belt in the past but unless it’s only a tiny gape it’s either uncomfortable or looks strange. They definitely need to make jeans for different shapes!

I've also in the past taken a triangle out of the back.

Try Hollister. I only know about these jeans because my teenage dd shops in Hollister and it wouldn’t be somewhere I would normally go for my own clothes, but their jeans are really fab! They do Mom jeans in sizes up an 18 (you can also order different leg lengths). They’re called Curvy high-rise MOM jeans. They are perfect for those with slimmer waists and larger thighs.

Maybe try Topshop Hourglass? Only available online is the only disadvantage.
