Thread lift

I am considering having a thread lift Has anyone has this done and what were the results like. I am in my mid 50"s and have been through a very difficult few years. I've had a consultation and the lady ( a nurse) said I should have a very good result. Any advice from the ladies on MN who have these treatments done ? x

Not a thread lift, but recently had a ‘mini facelift’ and delighted with result, if that’s of any interest?

Ooh I looked into this and read some horrendous testimonials about lots of pain and snapping threads that put me off. I'll be interested to see any positive experiences.

@PumpkinDart I had very little pain and a good result. If you search me I had a thread about my experience.

@PeachMelba78 I had a look at the thread..You did have a great result but you were beautiful before. I can totally understand why you would want to keep your looks. I am older than you and much more average but I just want a little refresh. I think I will go for it ,hopefully I will get a good result 🤞.

I’ll be totally honest, I grew up beautiful and I am finding ageing incredibly hard - my face and my body are changing and although they are still good, I have been used to people wanting to date me etc due to my looks and I have lost that currency somewhat. Having people treat me like that has made me very vain and I’m trying to fight against it but it’s so ingrained.
Anyway that’s my essay done!
