What treatments do you get?

Now we have changed our finances to allocate money for ourselves, I feel less guilty about spending on myself.
What treatments do people get that make day to day maintenance easier and with better results?

eyebrow wax and colour , I hate doing them myself with tweezers
occasionally ( very ) shellac but nothing else
guess I’m not high maintenance

Gel nails a couple of times a year. Eyelash extensions, again, maybe twice a year. Most importantly I cleanse my face every night and put on retinol and a night cream. It's not just about spending money, sometimes it's about spending time.

Nails every two weeks
Massages a few times a year

Purplehonesty2 · 07/09/2022 20:28

Eyelash extension if going somewhere nice

Nails if going away

Facial / lip wax

JinglingHellsBells · 07/09/2022 20:31

None.

All DIY.

Buy nice effective products and save a fortune.

Eyebrow wax & tint (about every 5 or 6 weeks)
Shellac on nails (fortnightly)
Bikini wax

That's it, other than hair (tint / cut every 8 weeks; Balayage a few times a year) which has become eyewateringly expensive, not sure I can sustain it.

Makeup wise I spend on foundation but find Boots No 7 & other inexpensive brands fine for most other makeup products.

I don't have a lot of spare money at all but I barely drink, don't socialise so I value those treatments and always decide they're worth doing (tho the hair ...😬)

None other than hair trim every couple of months. Everything else is DIY.

Glitteratitar · 07/09/2022 20:53

Eyebrow thread every two weeks
Gel nails every three weeks
Gel pedicure every six weeks
Hollywood wax every six weeks (have had fully body laser previously so growth is slow)
Hydrafacial once a month
Massages every two months

I’m still breastfeeding so there’s a limit on what I can do!

At the moment just highlights and a cut every 8 weeks, if I had the money though I would get my hair washed and blowdried at the salon twice a week - would save so much hassle, and always look sleek and lovely.

I’ve recently started getting into this. This is the current list : regular gel nails, 12-week blow dry, monthly lash extensions, brow tint, Botox 😁

Hot stone massage with facial and head massage every month (all in one deal).

Hair cut every six weeks, lowlights every 18 weeks.

Pedicure every month.

That's a lot for me, I only used to ever have a haircut but have started doing more.

haveyouopenedyourbowelstoday · 07/09/2022 20:57

Trim (v v short hair) every 4 weeks.
Brows dyed, toe nails shellac'd and kept tidy every 4 weeks.

Shortkiwi · 07/09/2022 21:22

Hair - tint regrowth and cut plus partial foils if needed every 7 weeks
Biosculpture nails every 3 weeks
Gel toenails few times a year
