Can short stocky hourglass shapes ever look good in a jumpsuit?

I've seen a lot of people wearing them recently and think they look so good. On other people. But I am short and stocky with a sort of hourglass figure that is a bit pear-shaped (boobs but heavier on the hips and thighs.)

Are there any jumpsuit/playsuit styles that might work with this body shape?

I saw someone yesterday on my train journey yesterday who did look good in one, who fits the description of the body shape you give. No idea where they got it from, it was a lighter green. Wore converse trainers with them.

Following this because I'm 5 foot tall and a curvy hourglass and jumpsuits make me look like an overgrown baby. I love the look on everyone else though...

Like in the 1980s, my problem with a jumpsuit is going to the loo. Especially out and about. Can't see how you keep it off the floor of a public loo.
They look great but the hassle puts me off.

LOL - that's exactly what I look like in them too! But I long to find one that works.

I wondered about something like this. Starts at size 14, which might work if it's not too loose a cut. The neckline doesn't shout preschool daycare Grin

I keep forgetting this. Good reminder.

I'm 5ft 2, very small waist but with boobs ans hips.

I love jumpsuits! I have a few of them. I always ensure they are 3 quarter length sleeve, cinched at the waist and a v neck. I also wear heels when I wear one to make my legs appear longer. I find them really comfortable. Go for it!

I think with jumpsuits there's so many different styles and it really depends on the shaping as to what suits you. Agree about the toileting bit though!

Good tips. I like the idea of 3/4 sleeves and V necks. Where do you buy yours? Do you have any links please?
